Alyssa Smith
Alyssa Smith is a multimedia composer, orchestrator, and music editor specializing in film, television, and film advertising. With a unique compositional style that blends a wide range of genres and textures, she crafts distinctive musical landscapes that effectively support and enhance the narrative vision of each scoring project.
She holds a Bachelor of Music in Film and Media Scoring from Berklee College of Music, with minors in Contemporary Conducting and Instrument Repair, and was honored as a Berklee World Tour Scholarship recipient. A skilled trombonist for over twelve years, Alyssa combines her musical knowledge with a passion for storytelling to create memorable and emotionally resonant compositions, bringing a deep understanding of orchestration and ensemble writing to her work.
Alyssa’s recent credits include composing the music for the trailer and gameplay of the video game NightBear: Defender of Innocence and scoring the short film Between Two Planets, which was screened at the LA+D Film Premiere.
Alyssa takes a collaborative approach to multimedia composing–delivering scores that not only ensure that every project fully captures the intended impact and narrative, but delivers powerful and nuanced soundtracks that elevate the visual experience.
